Platinum Yarmouth Pen made in Ringneck Pheasant Feathers - Dailey Woodworking

Platinum Yarmouth Pen made in Ringneck Pheasant Feathers

I’ve had to double up days again because both my wife and I have been sick lately. Unfortunately, I gave it to her and neither of us has felt like doing much of anything. However, I did promise you on Day 16 that I had another pen to show you and here it is.

This Yarmouth pen is quite spectacular especially when you consider all the colors that you see in it comes from feathers of a bird. Yup, the body of the pen is Ringneck Pheasant Feathers in a body of polyester resin. Don’t worry the Pheasants weren’t hurt to get their feathers and were gathered from farm raised birds making it legal to use and sell. It truly amazes me that the shapes and colors in a feather could be that spectacular.

Below is a picture of this pen and another made from Ringneck Pheasant feathers and the Paua Abalone Shell pen.
