There are three Katahdin Maple Burl Pens to choose from. Two are gold plated and the third is platinum plated. The fourth option is a Christmas ornament with a Maple Burl globe and Cherry finials.
The Katahdin style pen has a smooth operating twist mechanism. The Katahdin style is great for people who like to use a little bigger pen. To operate the pen, simply twist the top to the left or right. The pen uses a Parker™ style refill. You can also use a Parker™ style gel refill.
Every pen we send out is accompanied by a short note detailing the pen’s components; as well as the particular refill that’s needed, and instructions on how to install that refill.
The Christmas ornament is made up of three pieces and has been hand turned from Maple Burl and Cherry. The Maple burl globe has been hollowed out to make it light enough to be hung on a tree. the top and bottom finial have been turned from Cherry. The globe is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter and the overall length is approximately 6 inches.
