This is a very beautiful pen. The body of the pen is made from deer antler. Not to worry no deer were harmed. A deer sheds its antlers each year and this pen was made from those sheds. I hand turned this pen on a lathe. This pen has a very striking look with the antique brass and the natural color of the deer antler. On the lower barrel end, there are two deer heads, 180 degrees from each other, in the antique brass. The lower barrel is also designed to look like a bullet or shell casing. There is another deer head on the pocket clip. The pen measures approximately 5 1/2" long. The plating is antique copper. The pen uses a Parker refill and comes in a box. This pen is truly one of a kind.

I have been turning for over 20 years now. I taught myself how to turn by making pens. I have never tired of making them and I have now made thousands of pens. I still get a thrill each time that I apply the finish to my pens and get to see the finished product for the first time.
