This beautiful wine bottle stopper was turned in the shape of a top hat.
The Maple burl used is highly figured and is going in all directions on this stopper. I hand-turned this stopper on a wood lathe and then sanded and finished with an all natural walnut oil and then buffed with three layers of wax to give it a nice luster.
The bottle stopper itself is made here in the USA, from food grade stainless steel and will not rust or flake. The four different sizes of o-rings will create a seal in most any bottle. The stopper also features a footed bottom so that when it's not in a bottle it can stand on it's own. Another way to show off the beauty of the top.
The stopper is approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter by just under 3 inches tall and it comes in a nice velvet pouch.
